Renee Au

From the moment they first started tinkering with computers and teaching themselves HTML so they could build websites as a teenager, Renee knew the internet was where they belonged. That early curiosity turned into a career, leading them to earn a diploma in Digital Media and IT and a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems Technology from NAIT.

They got their professional start interning and working at several agencies and spent a few years freelancing, during which they collaborated with Full Stacks as a client. That working relationship turned into a full-time role, where they now bring their expertise and passion for pretty and challenging web development projects to the team as a senior developer.

When they’re not writing code or solving problems, you’ll find Renee hanging out with their dogs, Samus and Fitz, playing hockey (ice and ball), exploring video games, or experimenting with 3D printing and more computer tinkering. Oh, and they’re also a 2013 CCAA Badminton Women’s Doubles bronze medalist.
